Fallen Soldier Laid to Rest in San Antonio, by Amanda Stairrett of the Killeen Daily Herald. SSG Chris Kiernan, known as the "General" died May 6, 2007 while serving his second tour in Iraq. He was much respected soldier who was assigned to Company B, 2/12th Cavalry during OIF II in 2004-2005.
