B - 2/12th Cavalry Reunion, Ft. Benning, GA
Our first ever B Company 2/12th Cavalry reunion at Fort Benning/Columbus, GA will take place
April 7 – 10, 2011. Planned arrival and check-in is April 7th. April 8th is set aside for meeting with
one another in our meeting room at the hotel and/or going to various places in the Columbus areas for tours/activities
that will be listed on the full itinerary. April 9th, we're scheduled to to visit Fort Benning, have lunch there, and
then tour the newly opened National Infantry Museum (which is simply a great museum). We will have a farewell dinner
together the evening of the 9th. Our planned departure is April 10th.
We have negotiated a special rate ($75 for a standard room) at a Holiday Inn (mention you're with the B 2/12 Reunion) and we have a large meeting room reserved where
we can meet, exchange war stories, old photographs, and share with each other our lives since the 12th Cav.
Family members are welcome. Tony's wife and at least one of his children will be coming and other family members are
coming. Tony's oldest son, John, will be taking some of the guys for some early morning fishing on Friday, April
8th, so if you want to do that, come prepared with fishing gear and appropriate clothing.
