This reunion is open to all who served with the 12^th Cavalry at any time, in any war or in peacetime, and their spouses/significant others.  (We will also have some troopers attending from our sister battalions, the 1^st and 2^nd Battalions, 8^th Cavalry, who are members of the All The Way Brigade).  The 5^th annual 12^th Cavalry Regiment Association Reunion will be held at the Stone Castle Hotel and Conference Center, 3050 Mountain Green Drive, Branson, Missouri, (Phone: 800-677-6906 or 417-335-4700) beginning Wednesday, September 8^th through Sunday, September 12^th, 2010.  Check out will be September 12^th.  Our banquet dinner will be held Saturday evening, 7 PM, September 11^th at the Drawbridge Room. We expect our largest group this year. Any or all of the activities are optional.  

1.  Please contact the Stone Castle Hotel directly to make your reservations with your credit card.  You are responsible for paying the hotel bill.  The hotel registration form in on our 12^th Cavalry website under Reunions-12^th Cavalry Regiment-Branson Missouri.  Room rates are $59 per night plus tax.  Please mention that you are with the 12^th Cav reunion to get this rate.

2.  Wednesday afternoon, September 8^th, from 5 PM-7 PM, there will be a Reunion Mixer (reception) in the Excalibur, the Reunion Hospitality Suite.  There is no charge for this activity.

3.  Thursday afternoon, September 9^th, at 2 PM, we will attend the newly revised “Hits of the 60’s Show” at the Caravelle Theater on the Branson Highway 76 Strip.  Charge is $17.00 per person.

4.  Friday evening, September 10^th, we have made reservations for 50 couples at the Hughes American Theater, across from the Caravelle Theater, for dinner at 6 PM and at 8 PM, we will attend a performance voted Branson’s Best Show, “SIX”.  Performing will be six brothers who use no instruments to sing a cappella, for an outstanding show.  The cost per person for the dinner and show is $45.28 per person.  A shopping tour for the ladies to the Branson Landing is from 1 PM to 5 PM and the transportation is complimentary (free).

5.  A group picture will be taken before the banquet at 6 PM in front of the Excalibur Room of the vets, the group and the ladies.  The cost will be $15 each.  The Saturday 7 PM banquet dinner will be $24.50 per guest.  It will be a buffet dinner featuring Chicken with Fettuccini, Grilled Salmon, Roast Beef, Corn, Roasted Red Potatoes, Broccoli and dessert.  Our guest speaker at the banquet will be Rory Malloy, Command Sergeant Major of the 1st Cavalry Division.

6.  The Sunday morning memorial service will be at 9 AM at the gazebo in front of the hotel.  The former Chaplain of the 1/12^th, Colonel Bill Lord, will lead the memorial service.

Three airlines fly directly into Branson now.  They are Frontier, Airtrans and Sun Country.  More information is available at www.flybranson.com.  The Springfield Missouri airport is about 35 miles north of Branson.  An RV Park, the America’s Best RV Park is just off Highway 76, in the heart of Branson, near the Titanic Exhibition.  Their phone number is (800) 671-4399.  A 15% veteran’s discount is available if you mention you are a veteran.
