Last Man Standing

 

LTG (Ret) Harold T. (Tom) Fields, Jr., presents the 1st Bn, 12th Cavalry “Last Man Standing” bottle of Courvoisier cognac to Colonel (Ret) Gregory C. Camp, Executive Vice President, National Infantry Foundation, for display and safekeeping in the National Infantry Museum.  The bottle is to be eventually returned to the last surviving veteran who served in the Vietnam War with the battalion and is to be consumed in memory of his former comrades in arms. Taken on July 21, 2006 at the Infantry Museum.

LTG (Ret) Harold T. (Tom) Fields, Jr. is on the National Advisory board of the National Infantry Foundation. In 1966, he commanded Company A, 1st Battalion (Airborne), 12th Cavalry Regiment.
