Hello All

I need any strong input concerning connection agent orange and multiple myeloma. I have been diagnosed with it. I'm in stage 3-b and going through chemo at this point and time. They are also giving me a push injection of bone builder once month.

I haven't got hold of the VA yet, I think I need some "on hand" or "been there, done that" input if possible. We were in LZ Grant area, Tay Ninh, Phouc Vinh, Phouc Long provinces, if I remember right.

Subject: Eddie King, Company A, 2/12th Cavalry March 1967-March 1968

Eddie and I entered service together 6 October 1966.  We did Basic at Fort Ord California and AIT at Fort Polk Louisiana (Tiger Land). Upon Graduation we both received orders for Vietnam.  He was assigned to the 1st Cav., I was assigned to a MACV Security Platoon in II Corps, Kontum Province. As good fortune would have it, we had a chance encounter a few months after being deployed.  Eddie’s unit was in my area, and he and the rest of the guys were actually able to spend a couple of days with us before his unit moved on. Eddie was from Astoria, New York.

I’ve been looking for him for many years, I have much I would like to say to him, at the very least, I would dearly like to see him at least one more time.  If there is any way you or any one else can help me in this regard, I would be most grateful.

I served with the 1st Cav, D Co, 2/12th from June thru October 1967. On the 26th of October I was wounded near Chu Lai shortly after Melvin was wounded with another trooper (name unknown). Melvin later passed away from his wounds, and I had to identify Melvin’s body. Is there anybody that served with him in the Cav, or knew him before he enter the army?

Tom Nolen,  Festus, MO

I just got back from visiting The Traveling Wall. A childhood friend of mine, Thomas Loos, unfortunately is listed on the wall. I grew up with Tom, played Little League ball together. Through the internet I've found he was a Silver Star recipient. From the date and location of his death it seems he might have been involved in the Battle of Hue. He served with Company D, 2/12th Cavalry.

I am looking for anyone who might have served with Tom and could tell me more about his time in Viet Nam. I would appreciate any emails

My father, SFC William D. Sizemore,  was an advisor to the 2/42 ARVN out of Kontum in June of 1967. I have been told that he and a number of men from Co. A, 2/12 were killed in an ambush on Highway 14 between Kontum and Tan Canh June 28, 1967. I was wondering if you had any contacts with men in Company A that know something of the ambush my dad was killed in. The KIA's were:

·  A Co, 2nd Bn, 12th Cav Rgt, 1 Cav Div, USARV

Thanks in advance for any information you might be able to pass on. Welcome Home!
